Here is the first of your weekly reading assignments.
Read the following article and turn in a brief written response first thing on Monday summarizing what you took away from the articles.

HOMEWORK DUE Tuesday

**Typed, beginning of class. No emailed submissions will be accepted.**

Your reading homework for this weekend delves into questions of what we can learn from looking at a photograph.
Print and read three short articles that are all responses to one particular photograph from 911. Write a short response to the readings, due in hard copy at the beginning of class. Bring the print outs of the articles, with underlined sections that you find, interesting, confusing, maddening, whatever. We will discuss these points as a group.


ALSO, per your syllabus read the textbook London/Stone 3-69

Also, as we discussed in class, go over your camera manuals. Be prepared to demonstrate your knowledge of changing shutter speed, ISO, aperture and reading your in-camera light meter.
