Materials for class

Unfortunately, photography is a rather expensive art form. Aside from the camera itself, costs of pursuing photography can quickly add up, including extra lenses, memory storage for image backups and printing costs. This semester, you are expected to have the following materials for class:

1. The textbook.
2. A DSLR camera with a minimum of 6 megapixels and fully manual settings. You must be able to independently operate the shutter, aperture and iso settings.
3. An external hard drive. You MUST have this with you for the first full week of class. Sending photos to yourself using google drive or using a flash drive WILL NOT BE SUFFICIENT.
Get yours on Amazon, or at Bestbuy
4. Printing Cards. These must be purchased across the hallway and are about $45 a card. This is going to be the most expensive aspect of the class. Expect to buy a minimum of three printing cards throughout the semester.
5. Paper: We will be printing on 8.5 X 11 paper.  You can choose glossy, or luster. Please no Matte Paper.
6. For your final project: Matboard
7. For your final project: Dry mount tissue paper
