Midterm Study Guide for October 17th
The Midterm will be comprised of 3 parts:
Part one:
1. STUDY your quiz. Most of these questions will show up on the midterm
2. STUDY all past reading responses. I will ask you the names of people you wrote about.
3. Know what tools are non-destructive and destructive editing methods in photoshop.
4. Know what can be corrected in photoshop and when a photo just needs to be reshot
5. Saving File formats for different situations. When to use each type of file
6. How do you edit images with layers in photoshop?
7. Know different lens types and characteristics of each
8. Light meters
9. How do you read a photograph?
10. Histograms
11. Equivalent Exposures AND sunny 16 rule
12. Basic editing workflow steps
13. HDR photography and how to create motion in photographs

Analyze 4 different photographs with TECHNICAL and COMPOSITIONAL Choices.

2. Remove something from an image, clean the image up, convert to black and white and get ready for print.
